若为作基督徒受苦，却不要羞耻。倒要因这名归荣耀给神。

若是义人仅仅得救，那不虔敬和犯罪的人，将有何地可站呢。
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
不是我们爱神，乃是神爱我们，差他的儿子，为我们的罪作了挽回祭，这就是爱了。
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
